- IAPN in Dialogue on Farmer Learning Platforms in Uganda

On 23 September 2014 the event “IAPN in Dialogue” took place for the third time. Christine Kyomugisha of the Sasakawa Africa Association introduced the concept of Farmer Learning Platforms to many interested guests. more

Due to the increasing number of requests, the deadline for submitting abstracts to the Second International Symposium on Magnesium has been extended to July 31, 2014. more

- Humboldt Foundation Recognizes Research on Nutrient Deficiency

On 4 June 2014, the coveted Georg Forster Research Award of the Humboldt Foundation was presented to Prof. Dr. Ismail Cakmak. The ceremony was held in Berlin. more

- IAPN in Dialogue with Prof. Cakmak

On 20 May 2014 the IAPN held its second discussion afternoon. Participants had been invited to discuss the topic of “Micronutrients in crop production and human health in developing countries” with Prof. Cakmak. more

- Humboldt Foundation Award Winner visits IAPN

Prof. Dr. Ismail Cakmak has been awarded the Georg Forster Research Award of the Humboldt Foundation, valued at 60,000 Euro. Since the beginning of this year, the agricultural scientist has been conducting research at IAPN. more
